Chiefs, Kura Kai & Hunt for Good: A Day to Remember at Pāpāmoa College
A few weeks back, we had the privilege of bringing together a dream team: Chiefs Rugby, Kura Kai, and the rangatahi of Pāpāmoa College, for a day packed with purpose, connection, and good kai.
At Hunt for Good, we back Kura Kai’s mission all the way. We support their kaupapa by donating wild venison mince to help fill High School Kura Kai freezers, and this time around, we helped organise a special visit from the Chiefs to add some extra inspiration to the mix.
The kids were having a blast and the energy was high, it was cool to see the students get stuck in alongside the Chiefs boys, cooking up meals and sharing stories. Big mihi to Mrs Amelia Jacobi for welcoming us into her classroom and passing on some solid cooking skills too.
It was a day full of aroha, manaakitanga, and real impact, one that left a lasting impression on everyone involved. This is what we’re all about at Hunt for Good: community, connection, and giving back in meaningful ways.
