Hunt for Good Delivers 200kg of Wild Venison to Tauranga Community Food Bank
Tauranga Food Bank, Jasper Osborne (hunt for good) and Dyllan Turnball (hunt for good)
Today was a huge milestone for Hunt for Good! Our team successfully delivered 200kgs of pure wild venison mince to the Tauranga Food Bank, helping to provide sustainable, nutritious meals for local families. This meat, part of our Pilot 2 initiative, was harvested from the wild and processed locally, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and community support.
The boys picked up the venison from Mr. Meat Man, our trusted partner in ensuring that the game meat is safely and expertly prepared. With this delivery, we’re not only addressing the deer pest issue but also filling a critical gap in food parcels — red meat, which is often lacking in food bank distributions.
We’re stoked to have made this contribution and look forward to continuing to provide wild game meat to those in need. Massive thanks to Mr. Meat Man for their help and to the Tauranga Food Bank for the fantastic work they do every day. Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for future deliveries and continue to make an impact across our communities!
